Here at Fauna we treat a wide range of animals in all shapes and sizes, from care of the older patients, companions and much loved friends, to top class performance animals. We see a large number of conditions from pre- and post-operative care, rehabilitation from injury, neurological and orthopaedic conditions, musculoskeletal pain, performance optimisation, strength and conditioning and weight control.

Working under veterinary referral and alongside other professionals to provide holistic care. We are professionally regulated by the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists (NAVP) and Animal Health Professions' Register (AHPR). Undergoing regular continued professional development (CPD) and staying up to date with the latest research and advancements in techniques and treatments.

What is Veterinary Physiotherapy?

Veterinary physiotherapy comprises of a number of techniques and modalities, including manual therapies, electrotherapies, other modalities and remedial exercise. It can help animals in all life stages, as well as helping optimise injury recovery, restoring normal function and reducing pain, it can also improve performance, muscle strength and tone, as well as helping improve overall well-being, and can have positive effects on behaviour.
